Our main point of communication is via Parentmail. When your child first starts at school, the school office will send a registration email and text to ask you to register (please check your Spam!). Once completed, most correspondence will be sent through this platform so please make sure you keep an eye on it. Any urgent communications (i.e. school closures) will sent via a text message.
Every half term, we will also send out a Newsletter which will include a round up of events, news and extra information. Please see below past Newsletters.
We are very excited to announce that we are now accepting online payments through ParentMail. As a small school this is something we have aspired to for many years. Going cashless is not only more efficient, hygienic and safer but also more secure. This system will handle any payments including trips, activities, breakfast club and donations.
Our aim at Meonstoke School is to go completely cashless from September 2021. You will be able to pay electronically, using credit or debit cards as well as PayPal and PayPoint. If you have any unpaid items on your account, the system will request these to be settled. For breakfast club, you can book up to 7 weeks in advance and manage your sessions if you need to cancel. In order to plan staffing and food costs we require a minimum of 24hr notice for all bookings. However we do understand that there may be occasions where a last minute session is required. If there is availability we are able to accept children on the day but this will be subject to a 50p surcharge. Bookings can only be made through this system but we are still able to accept payments via the Government Tax-Free Scheme, please contact the school office to discuss. In order to qualify for the sibling discount, please ensure you book for both children.
Afterschool club bookings will be made the club organiser directly.
For our Pupil Premium children, please be reminded that you are able to access one free activity per week either breakfast club or afterschool club. In addition all school trips are paid for by the School. If you would like to book onto breakfast club please contact the school office.
